The ones we see most
Freelanders and Discoverys, RAV4s, X-Trails, Qashqais, Sorentos, Santa Fes, older Shoguns and Pajeros. Up in the valleys there are a lot of them, and a lot reach the point where the repair bill outruns the value.
The usual endings are the same each time: a gearbox or transfer box that has gone, terminal corrosion on the subframe, or a diesel that will not clear its emissions test any more.
Where they tend to be parked
